Before you decide
The questions worth asking about a price
Why isn't there a free plan?
Because a free plan would make this a cheaper notebook, and it isn't one. Memo is bought by people who are trading money for hours, and a tier designed to avoid spending money attracts the opposite. If the lowest plan here is more than an hour of your time is worth, this product is not for you yet — and that's a fair thing to know on the pricing page rather than three weeks in.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes — fourteen days on any plan, no card held back for the fourteenth day. Cancel inside the window and you're not charged. Cancel after it and you get the rest of the month you paid for.
What if I pick the wrong tier?
Say so in the chat. Moving up is immediate and prorated; moving down takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for. Nothing you've saved is lost on the way down — features stop, data doesn't.
Is yearly worth it?
It's two months free, so it's worth it if you already know this fits how you work. If you don't yet, take the month — the discount will still be there in January.
How hard is it to leave?
Type “cancel” in the chat. That's the entire process. Ask for an export first and you'll get everything you ever told it as a file, including the things you'd forgotten you told it.
I already have a system that works. Why change it?
You shouldn't change it. Memo is the typing, not the system — the diary stays yours, the priorities stay yours, and the ten minutes a day of entering, checking and re-entering stops being your job.
